My work begins in the landscape. I gather what the seasons leave behind—wildflowers, grasses, leaves, and fragments of garden life—each one carefully preserved and arranged by hand. These natural elements are pressed, dried, and thoughtfully composed to create botanical figures and quiet scenes that feel both delicate and enduring.

Working with real plant material brings a sense of time into every piece. Each petal once moved in the wind, each stem grew toward the light, and each leaf carries the memory of the place it came from. By preserving these fleeting forms, I hope to extend their life and transform them into something contemplative and lasting. The process is slow and intentional, allowing the character of each plant to guide the composition.

Many of my works explore the human figure intertwined with the natural world. Flowers and stems become garments, gardens become silhouettes, and the body becomes a quiet landscape of its own. These botanical figures suggest a gentle connection between people and the environment—an idea that we are not separate from nature but part of its ongoing cycle.

Because every element is natural, no two pieces can ever be replicated. Variations in color, texture, and form ensure that each work is entirely unique. The materials themselves carry subtle imperfections and variations that give the finished piece its depth and authenticity.

I am drawn to plants not only for their beauty but also for their quiet symbolism. Wildflowers represent resilience, seasonal change, and the unnoticed elegance that exists all around us. By arranging them into thoughtful compositions, I hope to create work that invites viewers to pause, look closely, and reconnect with the small details of the natural world.

Each piece is created with patience and care, allowing the organic materials to shape the final form. The result is a collection of botanical reliquaries—works that preserve fragments of gardens, meadows, and seasons past, and transform them into lasting works of art.
